Mechanics - "Tales of the Angels"
Here, you can check out the mechanics for the game and how the game changes with each mechanic. There will be a detailed list of the mechanics with what they mean below the table.
Game Mechanic | How it effects the game |

ATB (Active Turn Battle) | Turn order is based on players speed |
Special Variables | Certain moves will add attack points based on a value of a variable. |
Crystal Effects | Allows you to save, heal, buy items, and other effects during the game |
Skill Transformations | Certain skills at their max level will allow skill transformations, which gives you a powerful skill |
Banking Gold | Allows you to bank gold to a bank. You may use the bank card key item at any time in the event you cant get to the bank |
Visual HP Bars | Allows players to see the HP of the enemies and players. HP values will also be visable to make it easier for players to see |
Limited Skill Uses | Limits the number of times you are allowed to use a skill |
ATB (Active Turn Battle)
If you are familiar with the Final Fantasy series, you should know about this battle system. This battle system uses the players agility to determine who goes first. The higher the agility value of your player, the more chances you have of going first in battle.
Banking gold
You will be able to bank and withdraw gold in the game. Make sure to save money in the bank in the case of an emergency
Crystal effects
You will see different colored crystals throughout the game. Each crystal will do a specific function. For example, the green crystals will let you save your game and heal your party in dungeons (save in towns).
Limited skill uses
Each skill in this game has a limit on how many times you can use a skill. Take a look at this screen shot below
The skill, Heal, in this case, has a limit of two uses per battle. Once you use it twice, you will have to recover them using items or special armor found throughout the game.

Skill Transformations
Some skills let you have the ability to score an ultimate move once the skill is at the max level. Not only you will get this move, but you will also get a new costume, and a new song to play in the "Music Picker" item.
Special Variables that affect attack damage
Some skills have a variable attached to their damage formula. You will be able to find these variables under the "Variables" tab in the Status menu. Use that value to add to the damage formula to calculate the damage you can do.
EXMAPLES:
Kindness Points will add to attack damage for certain skills in the game. Evil Points will actually take away from damage potential.
Orbs and Gems are found throughout the Kindness Planet and the Angelic Realm. Finding these will multiply and add power to attacks that are in the Elementalist Class.
